Silent Argument

There was a time when I used to toy with colourful thoughts. Thoughts of no significance; some aimless, some wistful and some well, just happy thoughts. Now I hang floral curtains on my windows. You may dismiss me as boring or you could just say that I have matured.

Curtains are always sort of protective or stuff that is used to hide something unpleasant..atleast to me...may be with years behind us sometimes the tendency is to hide things ( and also blocking the sun)behind heavy curtains..

Very well put. Me in that stage too.

Dreams... a step away from reality. Towards a step of living it up in the little ways that make life so complete.

@arcane:

interesting thoughts .. not sure if I agree entirely. Nevertheless, thank you for reading.

@deepti:

Food for thought - why do we so earnestly want life to be "complete"; for sometimes don't think an "unfinished" is as beautiful ?

Interestingly, I agree - not with the boring title - but with the fact that with age our thinking becomes different. I wouldn't call it mundane or boring simply because other more practical things interest us.

They call youth the time when you think revolutionary thoughts, believe in yourself as a rebel. Just speculating, but maybe with age, you want to fit in more?

@n: Much delayed response, but I will hunbly accept the "beethovan" comment :) As usual, glad to see you visited.

@Shuchi: May be so. You could call it age or just fatigue from fighting for so long :) But interesting observation !
